Microliter 800 Series Syringes

Microliter syringes are for use with liquids only. They incorporate a hand-fitted stainless steel plunger with a finely bored syringe barrel. These syringes are ideal for homogeneous samples that are not prone to precipitation or bonding with glass.

Under the proper conditions, plunger wear is minimal and the life of a Microliter syringe is almost unlimited. However, when using heterogeneous solutions with a Microliter syringe, the user must be especially diligent about cleaning the syringe after each use. The 800 series syringes are the reinforced plunger version of the original 700 series syringes. Attached to the flange of the syringe is a blue Syringe Holder. The Syringe Holder provides a spot to hold the syringe that will not heat up the barrel causing dispense inaccuracies. Additionally it provides support to small volume plungers that are prone to bending during injection. This series of syringes is ideal for dispensing volumes from 0.5 μL up to 250 μL. A variety of different terminations and needle options are available in this series.
